Reiki -- Self-Healing
Reiki-- Self-Healing.
by Ranjan Mathews.
As a Reiki-I channel, initiated by Reiki Grand Master Dr. Muralidharan, in July 2000, I have been practising Self-Healing. I t has held me together all these years through 1. an accident on the left ankle which turned infectious and took about 6-months to heal; 2. a myocardial infarction or Heart Attack -- I could realise it only after 8-days when an ECG was taken and no Streptokinase Injection was adminstered within 3-hours of attack, which I managed to reverse through subsequent medication, regular yoga and reiki after a period of rest; 3. a Second Heart Attack triggered by a long walk in the Sun (probably), hospitalisation in ICCU, recovery and after about a Month of Medical/Cardio Tests underwent a Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery (Open Heart Surgery). By the Grace of God and thanks a little to Reiki-self healing techniques, I have recovered fully. Although there are restrictions to the kind of Physical exercises I am supposed to do I still do my Reiki self-healing, touching the 21-points along with Pranayam -- Breathing exercises. Once in a while I give it the miss, then swing back with the chakra-balancing technique. Reiki has emanataed from India and Lord Budha, spread through to the Far East by Tibetan monks and reborn in Japan under the tutelage of Dr.Usui. I have tried my self-healing on some pet dogs and cats. I thought it gave some relief to my Dog, Tito who ultimately passed away from a relapsed malignant tumour after initial succesful surgery. I am only a Reki-I channel, Reiki-II Channels can heal "long distance" in absentia; Reiki-III Grand Masters are only authorised to teach Reiki methods. I hope by sharing this information on Reiki some blog-readers may be benefited.
